    • Academic medical center with a focus on clinical research in rheumatic diseases led by Arthur Weinstein, MD, FACP, FACR

    • Over 20 years of clinical trial research experience, including clinical trial design

    • Over 100 publications in prominent journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine & editorial experience

    • Bench-to-Bedside philosophy: Investigative approach is a skillful blend of academic knowledge & practical experience

    • Outpatient electronic medical record (EMR) system

    • Recipient of prestigious grant award from the American College of Rheumatology

    • Dedicated Lupus Clinic based at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC with over 200 active patients

    • Clinical and laboratory research in SLE, RA, Lyme disease

    • Ambulatory Infusion Center for clinical and research patients receiving biological therapies for RA, SLE, and other rheumatic diseases

    • Dedicated clinical trial staff and training program with clinical and research fellows

    • Joint imaging capability, including joint PET scanning
